Part1: Free “ Zurich passenger safety protection” offer

All passengers who take a ride booked through the JEK App (“Eligible Passengers”) are entitled to the “Zurich passenger safety protection” free of charge*, which provides the following coverage:

   a. One-time hospital cash allowance¹
   b. One-time wheelchair damage cash allowance²

*Zurich Passenger Safety Protection” is provided by Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (a company incorporated with limited liability in Switzerland) ("Zurich"). JEK Limited (“JEK”) and Wonder Ventures Limited (“Wonder”) are not licensed insurance intermediaries and are not licensed insurance agencies of Zurich.

¹The Eligible Passengers are entitled to the one-time hospital cash allowance of up to HKD5,000 (per passenger)  if he/she is injured in a traffic accident during a ride that is booked through the JEK app, and requires continuous hospitalization in a Hong Kong hospital for at least 10 days.

²The Eligible Passengers are entitled to the one-time wheelchair damage cash allowance of up to HKD 300 (per wheelchair) if his /her personally carried wheelchair is damaged due to a traffic accident during a ride booked through the designated wheelchair taxi service on the JEK app.

Part2: Campaign terms and conditions

1. " Zurich Passenger Safety Protection" (“Policy”) is an insurance plan underwritten and arranged by Zurich Insurance Company Ltd (a limited company incorporated in Switzerland) ("Zurich"). Wonder Ventures Limited (“Wonder”) is the policyholder of this Policy. All passengers who take a ride booked through the JEK App from now until March 23, 2026 (“Eligible Passengers ”) are the insured members under the Zurich Passenger Safety Protection policy. There is no contract of insurance between the Eligible Passengers and Zurich. 

2. Eligible Passengers will be entitled to the benefits under the Policy free of charge. In order for Zurich to provide the coverage benefits, JEK will provide the Eligible Passengers’ mobile number, JEK App ID, booking reference number and ride details to Zurich. 

3. JEK and Wonder are not licensed insurance intermediaries and do not provide any advice in relation to the benefits under the Policy. If Eligible Passengers have any questions about the insurance coverage and claims under the Policy, please contact Zurich directly.

Part3: Insurance Claim Information

How to make a claim?
1. Please submit your claim application and provide required documents to Zurich via following link within 30 days after the incident:
  • Zurich “e-Claims” (Please enter your policy number and ride booking reference number when submitting your application)
  • Please gather all required documents, including the ride booking record from the designated taxi booking application. If you fail to do so, it may result in delays in processing your claims

1. You will receive an acknowledgement via SMS/email from Zurich within one working day.

2. Zurich will process your application within 14 working days upon receiving all required documents.

3. Zurich will credit the approved claim payment (in Hong Kong dollars) into your designated bank account in Hong Kong.
